Divit is a bill-splitting tool that uses AI to parse receipt images and helps groups calculate who owes what. The Service facilitates payment requests through third-party apps (Venmo, Cash App, PayPal) but does not process payments directly.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

Provide accurate information when creating or joining sessions
Only upload receipts for legitimate bill-splitting purposes
Not use the Service for fraudulent activities
Verify amounts before sending or requesting payments
Respect other users in shared sessions

4. AI Parsing Accuracy

The AI-powered receipt parsing is provided "as is" and may contain errors. You are responsible for:

Reviewing parsed items and prices for accuracy
Correcting any errors using the manual editing features
Verifying final amounts before requesting payments

5. Payment Disclaimer

Divit does not process payments. All payments are handled through third-party services (Venmo, Cash App, PayPal). We are not responsible for:

Payment disputes between users
Issues with third-party payment services
Incorrect payment amounts due to user error
Failed or delayed payments

6. Intellectual Property

The Divit name, logo, and Service are owned by us. You retain ownership of any content you upload (receipts, profile info). By uploading content, you grant us a license to process it for the Service.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for:

Errors in AI parsing or calculations
Service interruptions or data loss
Disputes between users about bill splits
Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
